This journey before the World Race could be described as a rollercoaster of emotions. I started this journey last August. Ever since then the Lord has continued to be faithful through donations, prayers, and showing me that this is His plan for me.

A song that really spoke to my heart during this season of life is “Promises” by Maverick City. Some lyrics in the song read, “Great is Your faithfulness from the rising sun to the setting same”, “You’re the God of covenant and of faithful promises, time and time again you have proven You’ll do just what You said.” I definitely recommend hearing this song and just letting the Lord show you how great His faithfulness and how good His plans are for us.

The Lord has shown me time and time again that being a missionary is what He has planned for me. I am gone fully into this calling and although there are times where I am anxious for several reasons, God has provided a sense of peace.

In the middle of this journey before the World Race, I had a $5,000 deadline. I was no where near that deadline… I began to question if I would even go. I was starting to make a plan b if I was not able to raise the money and not go on the World Race. I was creating a plan b will still fundraising and sharing about the World Race. I was late to reaching the first $5,000 deadline, and then two months later I needed to have $10,000. Now, I barely reached the first deadline, I had no clue how I was supposed to get $5,000 in two months to reach the second deadline. But, our God is so good!

Although I questioned Him and began to make my own plan, He reminded me that when He speaks a word, it will come.

Now, I am $8,7000 away from being fully funded! This has been a crazy journey of fundraising but I am so excited to almost being fully funded. I am so thankful for the people who have donated or prayed. I am in awe of my Father for being so faithful in my life.

Thank you to everyone who has donated or prayed. Please continue to pray that I am able to be fully funded and that the Lord shines His light in me as I have about 30 more days before launch.
