Wow… I still cannot believe that I am writing this blog in Georgia, in my tent, and sweating buckets!!!
3 days ago, I got an a plane, met my team, traveled to AIM campus, set up my equipment, slept in the Georgia heat, and started my adventure. I never pictured this day coming, but once it did, I was in awe. I signed up for the World Race in August 2021, so this was a long anticipated trip. I am excited for the rest of training camp and to see what God will do in my team and I before heading to Guatemala. He is already teaching me so many things, and its barely day 3 of the whole thing!! My whole squad and I finally met in person and it was amazing. We came up to camp on day 2 and set up our tents and equipment. This morning we had a session about TRUTH, it was so good! Today, I also learned how to wash my clothes in my super cool Scrubba Laundry Bag, harder than it seems! Also in today’s session, we learned about the first missions with Abraham and how God is still working in that, as well as, unity and community and how to do that well in the field.
Please pray for the rest of training camp! Pray that the Lord gives me physical strength, mental and emotional strength, and allows for this time to be beneficial. Also, pray for my family back home. Goodbyes were hard for me, and I certainly am missing the comforts of my family. Pray that the Lord keeps me strong. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way and joined this journey with me.
I am very excited to see how the rest of the week goes and hopefully for cooler weather haha!
So excited to hear you are learning so much 🙂 cannot wait to get to know you even better this week and in the next months!!!
I’m so proud of you and the steps you’ve done to follow God’s guidance through this experience! Love you hermosa ??
